Broadband connection problems Telecom Services Worcestershire

Broadband problems causing you a headache?

Is your broadband connection causing you a headache? Identifying and fixing a broadband fault at home can be a painful process and often Big Telecom companies will charge you an arm and a leg to send a broadband engineer to identify and fix the problem. We understand your frustration!

Before you call your local trusted Broadband Engineer we recommend you make sure your Broadband is actually broken, try the following steps:

  1. Try loading other web pages – and try switching browsers to Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome
  2. Check everything is switched on and all of the green lights are on
  3. Turn your computer and router off then turn both back on again
  4. Check your phone line is working by using your landline phone
  5. If you are using WiFi try connecting your computer to the router using an Ethernet cable – if this solves your issues, review your wireless settings and if you are still having issues contact your Internet Service Provider (ISP)

Broadband repair

Broadband speed and connection problems can often be caused by old main sockets, poor termination practice, old / damaged cable, router not located in the primary master socket, extension wiring incorrectly terminated, or an Internet Service Provider (ISP) slowing down service due to poor line quality.
